Launch of the 3rd edition of MOOD, to cover state of digital disruption

The Sorbonne Master’s Program in Cinema, TV and New Media is hosting the 3rd edition of the MOOD (Massive Open Online Disruption) a think tank dedicated to digital disruption. The first 2 consecutive years had 30 speakers debate 15 different themes with the Master’s students, the think tank’s 2018 edition will be extended further.
In order to cover digital disruption throughout the year, the MOOD will be rolled out in three formats:
The innovative education format where students and experts debate together : We’ve chosen an innovative format of the “flipped classroom”, which entails providing the curriculum to students at the outset, to allow productive debates to take place.A second format around conferences, with a partnership that will be later announced, for a professional audienceA third format around a TEDx built on a single theme, for 20 min, selected by the MOOD community
The general theme for this year: “Digital disruption: how to actually reinvent our businesses ?”
We will conduct 6 sessions with 3 with distinguished experts of each topic:
1) MOOD disruption framework for content: the evolution of the #book industry
2) MOOD disruption framework for content: the #music industry and the business model challenge
3) What if the content industry reinvented itself with the ascent of the “FrenchTouch” ?
Guest speaker: Laurent Storch, former TF1 Programming Head
4) Facebook at the center of the media industry’s transformation: “Is everything social ?”
Guest speaker: Florence Trouche, Facebook France Business Lead
5) The data revolution and its impact: is it augmented marketing or total reinvention ?
Guest speaker: Philippe Ait Yahia, Founder of Synomia and former COO and Co Founder of Omnicom Telecom
6) Debrief of the sessions and further deep dive into the MOOD disruption framework
